What is Race Fan Classifieds?
Race Fan Classifieds is a specialized marketplace for race fans to buy, sell, and trade race tickets, camping spots, RV rentals, fan gear, racing experiences, and other race-related items and services.
Is it free to use?
Yes! Browsing listings is completely free, and posting listings is currently free as well. No registration or fees required.
What types of items can I list?
You can list:
- Race tickets and credentials (grandstand, pit passes, season tickets, etc.)
- Camping spots and campsites (infield, outside, RV hookups, tent sites)
- RVs, campers, and trailers (sales or rentals)
- Camping gear and tailgating equipment
- Racing experiences (driving experiences, ride-alongs, VIP packages, meet-and-greets)
- Fan gear and collectibles (driver merchandise, team apparel, diecast, autographed items)
What items are NOT allowed?
We do not allow:
- Counterfeit tickets or credentials
- Stolen property
- Illegal items
- Fraudulent camping reservations
- Fake autographed items or memorabilia
Posting Listings
How do I create a listing?
- Click "Post Listing" in the navigation menu
- Choose your category (Tickets, Camping, RVs, Gear, Experiences, or Collectibles)
- Fill in the details (event, date, section/location, price, description)
- Upload photos if applicable
- Add your contact information
- Click "Submit"
Your listing will be live immediately!
How many photos can I upload?
You can upload up to 8 photos per listing. For tickets, we recommend showing the actual tickets (with barcodes blurred for security) and seat views if possible.
What makes a good listing?
Great listings include:
- Clear, specific titles (include event, date, and section/location)
- Detailed descriptions with all relevant information
- Photos when applicable
- Honest, accurate pricing
- Multiple contact methods
- Face value information for tickets
Can I edit my listing after posting?
Currently, to make changes you'll need to delete and repost your listing. We're working on adding an edit feature.
How long do listings stay active?
Listings remain active for 60 days or until the event date passes, whichever comes first. You can delete sold listings at any time.
Buying and Selling
How do I contact a seller?
Click on any listing to view the full details, where you'll find the seller's contact information (email and/or phone number). Contact them directly to arrange the transaction.
Does Race Fan Classifieds handle transactions?
No. We are a marketplace platform that connects buyers and sellers. All transactions, negotiations, payments, and transfers are arranged directly between you and the other party.
Is payment processed through the site?
No. Payment is arranged directly between buyer and seller. We recommend safe payment methods like:
- PayPal Goods & Services for buyer protection
- Venmo or Zelle for trusted transactions
- Cash in person for local exchanges
- Ticket exchange platforms for high-value tickets
Never wire money to someone you don't know!
How do I know if tickets are legitimate?
We recommend:
- Ask for proof of purchase or order confirmation
- Verify the tickets through the venue or official ticketing site when possible
- Request a phone or video call with the seller
- Check the seller's reputation or references
- Meet in person for local deals when possible
- Use secure payment methods that offer buyer protection
- Trust your instincts - if the price seems too good to be true, it probably is
What if I have a dispute with a buyer/seller?
Disputes must be resolved directly between the parties involved. Race Fan Classifieds is not involved in transactions and cannot mediate disputes. We recommend using payment methods with buyer protection.
Can I negotiate on price?
That's between you and the seller! Many sellers are open to reasonable offers, especially as the event date approaches.

How can I avoid scams?
- Never send money before verifying tickets or items
- Be wary of prices well below face value
- Don't wire money to strangers
- Use secure payment methods with buyer protection
- Verify ticket authenticity when possible
- Meet in safe, public locations for local exchanges
- Trust your gut feeling
What if I see a suspicious listing?
If you suspect fraud or see counterfeit tickets, please report it to us at report@racedayclassifieds.com. Include the listing URL and a description of the issue.
Is my personal information safe?
We take privacy seriously. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information. Remember:
- Only share contact info you're comfortable with
- Don't include sensitive data in listings
- Be cautious about sharing personal details with strangers
Technical Questions
What image formats are supported?
We accept JPG, JPEG, and PNG files. Maximum file size is 10MB per image.
My photos won't upload. What should I do?
Try:
- Reducing the file size
- Converting to JPG format
- Using a different browser
- Clearing your browser cache

Do I need to create an account?
Not at this time. You can post listings without registration by providing your contact information with each listing.
Can I delete my listing?
Yes. Contact us at support@racedayclassifieds.com with the listing URL, and we'll remove it promptly.
How do I delete my data?
Contact us at privacy@racedayclassifieds.com to request deletion of your information.
